Jonjoe Kenny has been handed his European debut for the Blues’ Europa League Group E clash at home to Apollon Limassol.
After coming off the bench to impress in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth, the 20-year-old Academy graduate will start at right-back, with Mason Holgate once again partnering Ashley Williams in the heart of defence.
Sandro Ramirez will start in an attack also featuring Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson, with Tom Davies partnering Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gana Gueye in midfield.
Everton’s bench includes Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Ademola Lookman, Nikola Vlasic and Kevin Mirallas.
Boss Ronald Koeman said: "We won against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup and then again at the weekend. It was a good win, a difficult one, but European football is different. We need a win because last time we had a poor performance and a bad result.
"This is one of the three home games and if you like to continue in Europe then you need to win at home. That’s all about tonight.
"Kenny did well when he came on [against Bournemouth] and he is a big talent. The young players know the manager believes in them, and if they are good enough then they are ready.
"Let's hope that tonight is really special under the lights at Goodison. It is a great stadium with a great atmosphere, and if we do our job then it will be a great night for Everton."
