Blues Support European Week Of Sport

Welcome, Marco!

Everything you need to know about the new boss here.

Everton Football Club is proudly supporting the European Week of Sport to encourage participation in sport and physical activity.

Following two similar campaigns, the designated week (23-30 September) will generate new activities and also build on already existing successful initiatives at European, national, regional and local level.

This European-wide campaign aims to inspire everyone - regardless of age, background or fitness level - to #BEACTIVE during the week and encourage them to stay active throughout the year.

Sport and physical activity contribute substantially to the wellbeing of European citizens. However, the level of physical activity is currently stagnating and even declining in some countries. The European Week of Sport is a response to this challenge.

In addition, sport has the potential to strengthen messages of tolerance and reinforce citizenship throughout the continent.

The European Week of Sport is a European Commission-led initiative. Click here for more information.
