My Goodison Memories: Yannick Bolasie

This Saturday, 2 September, marks the 125th anniversary of Everton’s first ever game at Goodison Park.

An estimated crowd of 12,000 turned up to see the Blues run out 4-2 winners against Bolton Wanderers, thanks to goals from Fred Geary, Alex Latta, Edgar Chadwick and Dickie Boyle.

To celebrate the landmark, we will be asking players both current and former to tell us their favourite Goodison memories, with the series set to continue throughout the season.

‘Super’ Kev Campbell and Graeme Sharp have already told us why they love the Grand Old Lady, and today it's the turn of Yannick Bolasie, who scored his first ever Premier League goal at Goodison Park... for Crystal Palace.

Watch Yannick discuss that strike and how he hopes to repay Blues fans with plenty more Goodison goals in the future above.
