Monday’s newspapers reflect on Everton’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea, while hinting the Blues could move to bring in a striker from the Stamford Bridge club.

The Independent is one of the editions to report Ronald Koeman is keen to bolster his attacking ranks before the close of the transfer window on Thursday, with Spain international Diego Costa a rumoured potential target.

The Liverpool Echo say Chelsea boss Antonio Conte refused to be drawn on the future of his striker after the full-time whistle in London, while Koeman is also quoted in the Telegraph praising the commitment of midfielder Muhamed Besic after it was confirmed he played in Sunday's game just 24 hours after his father was injured in a shooting in Bosnia.
