Club-record signing Gylfi Sigurdsson dominates the sport pages of Saturday’s newspapers after being involved in a press conference at USM Finch Farm on Friday.

The Iceland star discusses the time he was a ballboy at Goodison Park and how relieved he is a move to the Blues finally materialised this summer.

Sigurdsson also says he has improved since his time with Tottenham Hotspur.

Elsewhere, journalist Henry Winter believes Ronald Koeman is creating a “special Everton”, even if Ross Barkley leaves the Club this summer.

And finally, the Liverpool Echo mentions last night’s Under-23s game, where Jose Baxter played his first game in an Everton shirt for more than five years.
