Wayne Rooney, Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines have all reached Everton landmarks after being named in the Blues’ starting XI for tonight’s Europa League clash against MFK Ruzomberok.
Skipper Jagielka – who signed a new one-year deal to the summer of 2019 on Wednesday – will make his 350th appearance for the Toffees in what is likely to be a three-man central defence alongside Michael Keane and Ashley Williams.
Baines is set to play as a left wing-back and will play his 376th match for Everton, setting a Club record for a full-back, with Tommy Wright on 375 games.
Rooney, meanwhile, will make his 50th Toffees appearance in all competitions, after rejoining the Club in the summer. The forward is set to partner Sandro Ramirez in attack as the Blues go into the third round qualifying second leg in Slovakia with a 1-0 advantage.
