Kieran Dowell has joined Nottingham Forest on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 19-year midfielder, who joined the Club’s Academy aged seven, will gain valuable first-team experience with Mark Warburton’s Championship outfit.
Dowell was part of Everton’s Under-18s side that landed the age group’s Premier League title in May 2014 and David Unsworth’s Under-23s squad that clinched the inaugural Premier League 2 title in May this year.
The Ormskirk-born playmaker made his senior debut in a Europa League group game against FC Krasnodar in December 2014 before being handed his Premier League bow in a 2-1 win over Bournemouth in April 2016.
An integral part of England Under-20s' triumph at the World Cup in South Korea during this summer, Dowell spent part of pre-season with Ronald Koeman’s first team, contributing a fine long-range goal in the 2-1 win over Gor Mahia and another intelligent finish to help the Blues to a 3-0 win over FC Twente.
He signed a three-year contract with the Toffees in June 2016.
