Ronald Koeman backs new signing Davy Klaassen to handle the demands of Premier League football in Tuesday’s edition of the Liverpool Echo.

The Blues boss insists the former Ajax captain has made the move ‘at the right moment’ but he will take time to adapt to the speed of the English game.

Koeman also discusses Wayne Rooney in the Daily Star, claiming the Everton striker is still one of the best around.

The Star also continues speculation that the Blues are pursuing Swansea City’s Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Michael Ball’s column in the Echo looks at the Toffees’ transfer business, and Kevin Mirallas talks about the importance of Thursday’s Europa League qualifier against Ruzomberok.

And various newspapers report on the news that Everton will host a charity match in honour of Bradley Lowery at Goodison Park.
