Pennington Joins Leeds On Loan

Matthew Pennington has moved to Leeds United on a season-long loan.

The defender has linked up with the Yorkshire club for their 2017/18 Championship campaign in his fourth spell away from the Blues on loan, following stints at Tranmere Rovers, Coventry City and Walsall.

The 22-year-old has so far accumulated nine first-team appearances for Everton since making his competitive debut against Barnsley in a League Cup tie in August 2015.

The Academy graduate scored his first goal for Everton in last season’s Merseyside derby at Anfield.
