Under-23s Arrive In Spain

Everton Under-23s have arrived in Spain for a week-long pre-season training camp.

David Unsworth’s Premier League 2 champions touched down at Murcia airport on Sunday evening before heading to the La Manga region on the south east coast.

After friendlies against Flint and Accrington Stanley, the 24-strong young Blues squad will now step up their preparations for the new campaign by training in temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius.

The trip will conclude with a match against an unconfirmed team on Saturday before a flight home the following day.
