Excited Ronald Koeman says Everton have captured a player with “a big future” in goal-getting Sandro Ramirez.
The Spain Under-21 striker completed a move from Malaga on Monday to become the Blues’ fourth summer acquisition following the arrivals of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru.
Koeman believes Sandro, 21, will prove a hit in the Premier League and says Goodison is the ideal place for him to realise his huge potential.
Asked about a player who netted 14 times in 30 La Liga appearances last season, Koeman told evertonfc.com: “There was a lot of interest in Sandro because, of course, he’s a goalscorer, he’s young and he has a big future in the game.
“We have been trying to bring in good players so we can have greater productivity in the team and he will bring that. He will bring a lot of good qualities and he’s a really good goalscorer, too.
“If a player has this level of quality in his game, then he will develop as he matures further and he will grow as a player even more.
“This is an opportunity that he is ready for and we will help him to be the player he can be for Everton.
“Sandro is an exciting addition to our team.”
