Everton have wrapped up a deal to sign £5.2million Malaga and Spain Under-21 striker Sandro Ramirez, according to the Mail on Sunday.
However, the former Barcelona star is only one of a number of names linked with a move to Goodison Park in today’s newspapers, with Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and M’Baye Niang again being touted as possible targets for Blues boss Ronald Koeman.
The Liverpool Echo
claim Everton are now “leading the chase” to land Burnley and England centre-back Keane but that Swansea want a fee of around £40million for Iceland midfielder Sigurdsson. The Mail also suggest Everton will make a “renewed push” for the former Tottenham man.
The Daily Star Sunday
report AC Milan forward Niang could be Goodison-bound after turning down the chance to make his loan move to Watford permanent.
Elsewhere, the Sunday Mirror
hints Arsenal are considering a bid for Genk’s highly-rated Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge, who they claim Everton were keen to sign last year.
One new signing already through the door at Goodison, Davy Klaassen, is quoted in the Echo saying he is confident of being a goalscoring hit in the Premier League, while the same paper assesses Ronald Koeman’s first 12 months on Merseyside.
