Davy Klaassen is confident he will hit the ground running with goals and assists in the Premier League after sealing a €27m switch to Everton.
The 24-year-old, who has been capped 14 times by his country, came through the famous Ajax academy system, going on to score 49 goals in 151 starts for the Dutch giants.
An attacking midfielder who can play in a number of different roles, Klaassen believes his aggression on the pitch and burning desire to win will stand him in good stead on English shores.
“I like to get in the box and I also like to be aggressive on the field and press all the time,” he told evertontv. ”I like to score and create goals and I like to win.
“My whole life I’ve scored a lot of goals, so I expect that I can do it here as well.
“It’s not the most important part of my game but goals are important in football. I will try to do my best and the goals will come.
“I like to win and to win you have to provide or score goals.
“I want us to get better and better as a team and we will see where we go, but I have a good feeling about it.”
