Ademola Lookman, Callum Connolly and Jonjoe Kenny all started in England Under-20s’ 1-1 draw with Guinea on Tuesday - a result which puts the Young Lions in a strong position to qualify for the knockout phase of the World Cup.
There were second-half substitute appearances for Kieran Dowell and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, meaning all five of Everton’s representative in the squad played at the Jeonju Stadium in South Korea.
After beating Argentina 3-0 in their opening match of the tournament, a win for England would have seen them advance to the round of 16.
And they were on course when Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook opened the scoring just after half-time with a shot from distance.
However, a bizarre 45-yard own goal from Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori earned Guinea a point.
Full-back Kenny had a chance to win the match in stoppage time but was unfortunate to see his angled drive strike the side-netting.
The draw means England have four points from their first two matches, with tournament hosts South Korea to play in their final Group A fixture on Friday.
The top two sides in each of the six groups, along with the four best third-placed teams, progress.
