Ronald Koeman has revealed Morgan Schneiderlin will be ready for action within 10 days after missing Sunday’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
The France midfielder, who has made an impressive start to his Everton career since sealing a switch from Manchester United in January, was unavailable for the visit of the league leaders after sustaining a thigh injury in training on Thursday.
However, Koeman has allayed fears that Schneidetrlin’s season could be over and says he may even be available for next weekend’s trip to Swansea City.
He said: “It’s not really bad. It’s not the end of the season for Morgan. Maybe [he will be available for] next week, maybe not - but it will not take longer than 10 days.”
