Golf’s most prestigious trophy will be on display in Everton Two this Bank Holiday Monday.
The famous Claret Jug - awarded to the winner of The Open - will be in the Club’s Liverpool One store between 11am-3pm this Monday and Evertonians will have the opportunity to have their photo taken alongside the iconic prize.
The Claret Jug was recently on show at Goodison Park, with boyhood Blue and professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood showing it to the crowd before the 3-1 win over Burnley.
It's all part of Everton's link-up with The Open, which will be staged this year at Royal Birkdale. The world’s top golfers will be heading to Merseyside to compete for one of the most treasured prizes in the sport between 20-23 July 2017.
