Conor McAleny scored two goals in the opening nine minutes as Oxford United strolled to a 3-0 win at Millwall.

The forward bagged his first with five minutes on the clock when he fired home from the edge of the box. And the 24-year-old was back on the scoresheet moments later, cutting in from the left and curling into the far corner.

Josh Ruffels added a third on 71 minutes as The U’s moved up to ninth in League One.

Controversially sent off on 25 minutes in Hull City’s 2-0 victory over Watford at the KCOM Stadium. The Senegalese striker was dismissed for a challenge on M’Baye Niang but despite the disadvantage, the Tigers battled to three crucial points in their battle against the drop courtesy of goals from Lazar Markovic and Sam Clucas.
