Leighton Baines has overcome his back complaint and should be available to play against Hull City this weekend.
The left-back was substituted at half-time in last weekend’s 3-0 win against West Bromwich Albion, with Ramiro Funes Mori stepping off the bench to take his place.
Baines was able to resume his work at USM Finch Farm on Thursday and is expected to be fit for Saturday when Everton go in search of a sixth successive home league win.
“Leighton trained this morning,” Koeman said at his pre-match press conference. “Normally he would be available for the weekend. We have still have the same players out.”
Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic’s long-term knee injuries mean the pair remain unavailable for selection, as does James McCarthy who has suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
Despite McCarthy missing the victory over the Baggies, the midfielder has been called up by Republic of Ireland for their forthcoming fixtures against Wales and Iceland.
“James is progressing,” Koeman added. “Okay, we know the FIFA rule that they [Republic of Ireland] can call up James. They will do their fitness [tests]. We will see, we can’t do anything about that.”
