Everton fans can get exclusive behind-the-scenes content from the new Dugout app.
The Blues are part of Dugout - a new football-only social media platform.
The Dugout app is available now and follows the successful launch of Dugout.com in November 2016.
The platform has already seen over eight million users join the platform, generating 13 million page views.
Everton are one of 37 sides to create their own pages – alongside some of the biggest names in world football.
AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all on board.
Each club and player has a dedicated Dugout profile in order to upload content and interact with fans and, in addition, Dugout works with these partners to create high-quality, original content.
This content includes videos from clubs exclusive to Dugout before they're shared with the rest of the world, lifestyle and personal updates from players and original video series featuring ball skills and tricks from players that can’t be seen anywhere other than Dugout.
Everton will regularly add new video clips and images to the platform, with fans currently able to see content from Phil Jagielka, Ramiro Funes Mori, Ronald Koeman and Morgan Schneiderlin.
Scott McLeod, Everton’s Head of Engagement, said: “We are always looking at new and different platforms to deliver content to our fans. We’re delighted that Dugout now have an app which will make it even easier for Evertonians to consume the great videos and photos we are providing.”
Dugout President, Elliot Richardson, said: “Dugout was built for football fans across the world – delivering the ultimate place to explore and access the biggest clubs and players on the planet. The app launch is a huge moment for us because we now know most of our users are accessing the platform using their mobile, meaning that we can now give them a bigger, better and more personalised experience – with unparalleled amounts of exclusive and original content, produced by the world’s biggest clubs and players working with Dugout and seen nowhere else, totally free.”
The Dugout app is initially available in eight languages: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and Bahasa (Indonesian), with more to be added in the coming months.
