Dominic Calvert-Lewin will link up with David Unsworth’s Under-23s having agreed a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Sheffield United.
Calvert-Lewin came through the ranks at his hometown club, making his senior debut in a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient in April 2015, aged just 18.
In August 2015 he joined Northampton Town on loan, scoring eight goals in 26 appearances for The Cobblers in League Two, and made two senior outings for the Blades this season before arriving at Goodison.
“He’ll be a great acquisition to our very talented Under-23 group and I think he has the opportunity here now to kick on and play at the very highest level,” Unsworth said.
“He’s joining a massive Club and this is an opportunity of a lifetime for him.
“To go from League One to the Premier League is a massive jump but he certainly has all of the attributes to make that jump, given time, hard work and the desire I know he has.”
