Everton's pre-season journey continues this weekend when they take part in the Dresden Cup.
Ronald Koeman's charges will face the hosts Dynamo Dresden on Friday evening, before meeting Real Betis of La Liga on Saturday lunchtime.
But the tournament has an interesting twist - as well as three points for a win, there will be a point awarded for every goal scored, regardless of whether the game is won or lost.
What's more, there will be no draws in the tournament with games set to go immediately to a penalty shootout should the scores remain level after 90 minutes.
Three points will then be awarded to the winners of the shootout, though goals scored in penalty shootouts will not count towards the final tally.
Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen will also feature and face Betis on Friday and Dynamo Dresden in the final game of the four-match tournament on Saturday.
At the end of all the matches, the team with the most points will be crowned the winners.
Should two teams finish level on points, goal difference will be used to determine the champions. If goal difference can't split the teams, it will go down to goals scored.
It all points towards a goal rush in Germany - and you can catch every second of Everton's two games live on evertontv
The matches are available for just £3.99
, with commentary set to come from evertontv's Darren Griffiths and 1995 FA Cup winner Graham Stuart.
