With the Blues in Germany taking part in the Dresden Cup this weekend, many Evertonians will also be making the trip.
Here we present information on the stadium, local area and more for those travelling Toffees...
A popular destination is likely to be the Altmarkt area with many bars and restaurants. There is also a Biergarden adjacent to the stadium on the edge of the Grober Garden park.
The stadium is well serviced and on the local tram network. We are advised that the trams are accessible for wheelchair users.
There is one entrance dedicated for Everton supporters in Block A. Tickets will be checked at the entrance before a final check. We have been asked to advise our supporters not to bring bags.
Supporters are also advised not to visit the Dresden Fan Pub situated in Srafburger Platz near the stadium.
At the main entry point, tickets will be scanned by staff with handheld scanners. Once supporters have passed through searching will take place. Any supporters who are judged to have consumed too much alcohol will be denied entry to the stadium.
The staff with scanners will be available to resolve any issues regarding ticket failures. Within this section is a ticket office dedicated to our supporters.
The main club ticket office is next to the Club Shop on the main side of the stadium. We are informed that programmes will be on sale and available around the stadium.
Once inside, the area is totally segregated by gates. Refreshments are available, supporters are able to purchase with cash and we are informed that alcohol will be on sale.
To the right of the kiosk is the entrance to the seating
The Everton section will be segregated with an empty standing section to the left, not in use at this fixture and netting and security staff to the right.
At the end of the match on Friday it is likely that police will keep supporters inside the stadium for a maximum of 20 minutes whilst local crowds disperse. Refreshment and toilet facilities will be available.
Supporters' usual flags will be allowed into the stadium and can be displayed if not blocking others views.
The Club is aware of two coaches travelling overland and as both groups are staying at hotels near the ground no coach parking should be necessary.
