Eight Changes At Stadium MK

Ronald Koeman has shuffled his pack for Everton’s second pre-season friendly against MK Dons.

With one eye on the Dresden Cup later this week, where the Blues play Friday and Saturday, Koeman has made eight changes to his starting line-up.

Summer signing Maarten Stekelenburg makes his first Toffees start between the sticks, with a back four of Seamus Coleman, Bryan Oviedo, Matthew Pennington and Ramiro Funes Mori.

In midfield, Tom Davies switches from full-back to one of the holding midfield positions alongside Tom Cleverley.

Kevin Mirallas – who scored against Barnsley last time out – keeps his place and he is joined in the advanced midfield roles by Ross Barkley, another goalscorer, and Shani Tarashaj who also starts for the first time after coming off the bench at Oakwell.

Gerard Deulofeu, the third and final scorer from Saturday, once again starts up front for the Blues.

On the bench, John Stones returns after missing out against his former club, and he is joined by former MK Dons man Brendan Galloway.
