Injured Connolly Returns

Everton’s Callum Connolly has been withdrawn from the England Under-19 squad currently competing in Germany at the 2016 UEFA European U19 Championship Finals.

Connolly sustained an injury during England's 2-1 win over France and following a medical assessment, it was decided the versatile youngster would return to the Club for further treatment.

Aidy Boothroyd's Three Lions play their final Group B game against Croatia on Monday, having already secured qualification for Thursday's semi-finals and a place in next year's Under-20s World Cup.

Blues duo Ryan Ledson and Jonjoe Kenny remain available for the tournament.
