Trio To Kick Off Euros

Three Everton youngsters could be involved as England Under-19s take on France at the European Championship Finals on Tuesday evening.

Ryan Ledson, Jonjoe Kenny and Callum Connolly, who have all made their first-team debuts, are in Germany with the Young Lions for the tournament.

Aidy Boothroyd’s side face the French at 6.30pm UK time, with the match to be shown live on Eurosport.

Further Group B fixtures against the Netherlands and Croatia on 15 and 18 July respectively will determine whether they can progress to the semi-final stage and simultaneously qualify for the Under-20 World Cup in South Korea next year.

Ledson and Kenny starred for England as they lifted the Under-17 title two years ago - and will be wanting to repeat the feat this summer.
