Young Evertonians can apply to join the Junior Fans’ Forum from today.
The Forum was launched ahead of the 2013/14 season to give junior Blues the chance to share their views and get involved in key decisions that are likely to affect them.
Last year’s group made a real impact during their 12-month tenure. They helped the Club launch on Snapchat, conducted surveys on matchdays with fellow Goodison attendees, were involved in the design process of artwork coming soon to the Family Enclosure, helped shape the annual Junior Fan Day fixture and even got the chance to interview Mo Besic!
In addition to giving young fans the opportunity to get involved, the Junior Fans’ Forum provides a valuable opportunity for the Club to gain the opinions of an ever-increasing section of the fanbase.
As part of its continued commitment to fan engagement, the Club is in constant dialogue with supporters and the junior initiative is an extension of the adult Fans’ Forum, who meet monthly with Club officials.
The group of youngsters, who must be between the ages of 11 and 17, will get together during the school holidays to discuss a range of topics from making matchdays at Goodison more memorable to coming up with exciting event ideas and much, much more.
If you want to have your say, simply complete the application form below, telling the Club in no more than 100 words why you would make a suitable candidate for the Junior Forum.
Forms must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 15 August
. New members will be notified in due course.
