Everton have been linked with Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in Monday’s newspapers.

The French international worked under new Blues boss Ronald Koeman at Southampton prior to his switch to Old Trafford and the Daily Express say the Dutchman is now plotting a move to bring him to Goodison.

In the Daily Star, it is reported that both Manchester clubs are keen to take John Stones from the Toffees, while the same paper carries quotes from Barcelona’s sporting director Roberto Fernandez saying the Spanish giants are unlikely to move for Ramiro Funes Mori this summer.

Meanwhile, in the Daily Mail, chairman Bill Kenwright shares his thoughts on the Club appointing a Director of Football.

Finally, Lee Carsley discusses the importance of countryman Seamus Coleman in the Liverpool Echo.
