Koeman Begins Against Spurs

Welcome, Marco!

Everything you need to know about the new boss here.

Ronald Koeman’s reign as Everton manager will begin in earnest with the visit of Tottenham Hotspur to Goodison Park on the opening day of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

Koeman will take to the home dugout for the first time in a competitive fixture for the 13 August clash with last season’s title challengers.

The new Blues boss will encounter his first Merseyside derby when his side host Liverpool on 17 December, with that fixture in the middle of a blockbuster month which also features clashes with Manchester United, Arsenal and champions Leicester City.

Everton face the Foxes away on Boxing Day before travelling to Hull City on New Year’s Eve.

Koeman’s two meetings with former club Southampton take place on 26 November at St Mary’s and 2 January at Goodison.

The away Merseyside derby is on 1 April while Everton’s season concludes with a trip to Arsenal on 21 May.

The full fixture list is below. Fixtures are subject to change. TV selections for the new season covering matches in August and September will be confirmed early in July. To purchase a 2016/17 Season Ticket, click here.
