Shani Tarashaj came off the bench to help Switzerland to a 2-1 friendly victory over Moldova on Friday evening.
In their final warm-up game before tackling Euro 2016, the Swiss now head into the tournament in good form following Admir Mehmedi's winner.
Tarashaj picked up his fourth senior cap when he was brought onto the field on 63 minutes with the scoreline at 1-1 - and the Blues' January signing soon had an impact.
Receiving a low centre from the left, the skilful attacker's touch created space in the box but it was forward Mehmedi who provided a first-time finish past Roman Burki.
Tarashaj received confirmation on Tuesday of his inclusion in Switzerland's 23-man party for the Euros in France.
