What The Papers Say - 28 March

Easter Monday's Everton-related media coverage is slim as the international break continues.

England boss Roy Hodgson does afford John Stones some column inches, however.

The national media, including the Daily Express, claim the Blues defender could partner potential skipper Phil Jagielka for the Three Lions against Netherlands on Tuesday.

But Hodgson has warned Stones must 'cut out mistakes' to ensure he features at this summer's Euro Finals in France.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool Echo carry the thoughts of Roberto Martinez on Gareth Barry.

The midfielder, who remains suspended for Everton's next outing against Manchester United, has played 568 Premier League games to date.

And his manager believes Ryan Giggs' record of 615 is within reach for the 35-year-old.
