Everton’s Fans’ Forum hosted the second ‘Do You Know Your History?' quiz night at The Winslow Hotel on Tuesday.
Twenty teams of Everton supporters battled it out in a contest which was compered by Fans' Forum member Bill Carr.
After three rounds, which consisted of Everton, general sport and picture questions, Team GB, captained by Adrian Thomas, were victorious on the night.
Each winning team member was then presented with a signed picture of an Everton first-team player to mark their success.
During the evening, attendees were also treated to a Q&A session with Club Ambassadors Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart, plus a complimentary bottle of Chang and pie on arrival.
The evening helped to raise almost £200 for Everton in the Community’s Dementia programme, Pass on the Memories.
Nick Mernock, Chair of the Fan’s Forum, said: “It was a fantastic evening and I would like to thank all the teams for attending and the members of the Fans’ Forum for constructing and delivering such a quality event.
"It was great to see supporters getting together and enjoying themselves. I would also like to thank fans for their generosity in helping to raise money for Everton in the Community’s Pass on the Memories programme, which carries out so much great work.
“Myself and the other Fans’ Forum members are looking forward to announcing the date of the next quiz night very soon."
The quiz is the third event to be organised by the Everton Fans’ Forum during the 2015/16 campaign, following an inaugural quiz night and a Christmas party for local disadvantaged children.
The group is planning a series of ‘Fans’ Forum Presents…’ evenings, which will see a range of special guests interviewed by members of the Forum, as well as a second community-focused event before the end of the season.
Another quiz night is also in the planning, details of which will be announced on shortly.
