Blues Agree Foulds Deal

Everton have agreed a deal for 17-year-old Matty Foulds, with the Bury defender set to move to Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee in January.

A left-footed centre-half, Foulds came through the ranks at Gigg Lane, before signing a professional contract in February.

He has made two senior appearances during the 2015/16 campaign, having earned his debut as a second-half substitute in the Shakers’ 4-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Leicester City back in August.

Foulds then played the full 90 minutes as Bury defeated Accrington Stanley in the Football League Trophy in September.
