Walsh Wins Goal Of The Month

For the second time in succession, a strike from halfway has scooped the Everton Goal of the Month prize.

Liam Walsh has won the award for October with his stunning 50-yard lob in Everton Under-18s’ 2-0 victory against Derby County.

The midfielder topped the online poll after pulling in 70 per cent of the votes.

In October’s poll, Romelu Lukaku finished runner-up with his Merseyside derby goal (16 per cent), while Nathan Broadhead’s effort for Everton Under-18s against West Bromwich Albion saw him finish third (8 per cent).
