A trio of Everton players have been named in the England Under-19s squad for upcoming friendlies against Holland and Japan.

Midfielder Ryan Ledson and defensive duo Jonjoe Kenny and Callum Connolly are the three Blues to have been included in Aidy Boothroyd’s 21-man group.

It is a first call-up to the Under-19s for Ledson, who has been a regular for Everton Under-21s this term.

The Young Lions will fly out to the Netherlands to face the Dutch on Thursday 12 November, before taking on Japan at Manchester City’s Academy Stadium on Sunday 15 November.

Keep an eye on for updates throughout the international break.
