Everton’s hugely popular Blues On Tour offering is back for 2015/16.
The scheme saw hundreds of Evertonians receive free travel and pre-match entertainment at five away fixtures last season.
Blues On Tour will return for the games at West Ham United, Norwich City, Stoke City (supporters' club activity), Sunderland and Crystal Palace.
Please note - the Club will continue to consult the Fans' Forum to arrange these trips. In the event of a fixture changing date, the Club will make a further announcement on evertonfc.com to clarify any changes to the schedule.
And the travel stewards who travel to every away game to help travelling Evertonians are also back again.
In addition, Club officials remain in talks with their counterparts across the league over reciprocal ticketing agreements.
For away supporters travelling to Goodison, there have been a number of improvements. The visitors’ section now has a series of welcome posters for supporters, and the lower visitors section has been repainted. The pre-match Fan Zone has also been made even more welcoming, featuring more content to appeal specifically to away fans.
All this work has been carried out as a result of the Club working closely with the Fans’ Forum, who formed a project group which sought ideas from other Clubs and analysed feedback from the Club’s Fans’ Panel.
The Blues on Tour activity forms part of the Premier League’s away fan initiative, launched for 2013/14, with the aim of filling away ends throughout the Premier League.
Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Director of Marketing and Communications, said: “We are blessed as a club to have such passionate and widespread support. The level of that support we receive when we travel away from home never ceases to amaze us. Our commitment to enhancing and improving the experience away from home for our travelling supporters is aimed at rewarding those fans who show such remarkable support season after season.
“Blues On Tour proved incredibly popular last season and this year we are working to extend this initiative to enable fans who don’t live near Goodison Park to benefit from free travel and pre-match entertainment too. That enhancement is as a direct result of the feedback from our fans."
