Young Duo Grateful For Chances

Everton fielded plenty of young talent in Tuesday's 2-0 win at Dundee.

As well as the likes of John Stones and Brendan Galloway, a total of seven Academy graduates graced the field at Dens Park, with two grabbing the goals.

Conor McAleny and Ross Barkley both found themselves on the scoresheet, while Tyias Browning started the contest before substitute appearances from Kieran Dowell, Matthew Pennington, Ryan Ledson and Antonee Robinson added to the tally.

After the game, 17-year-old midfielder Dowell and 20-year-old defender Pennington spoke to evertontv to discuss their performances, being in Scotland with the first team and their gratitude for opportunities under Roberto Martinez.
