Tim's Powered Wheelchair Football Trial

Towards the end of the 2014/15 season, Blues keeper Tim Howard visited the Everton in the Community Medicash powered wheelchair football team to join in with a training session.

The U.S international shot-stopper met the young males from the team and was provided with his own wheelchair and talked through the mechanics of how to operate it and the rules of the game. He then took his wheels for a spin and tried his hand at some short skills before taking his place in goal for a short-sided game.

To look back over Tim’s visit, watch the video below.
