Ledson Reflects On Eventful Campaign

Young midfielder Ryan Ledson has spoken to evertontv about an eventful 2014/15 season and his hopes for next campaign.

The Netherton-born Academy graduate made his first-team debut in the Europa League group game against FC Krasnodar last December, as well as appearing regularly for David Unsworth's Under-21s side.

Now, after captaining England U17s to European Championship glory last summer, the 17-year-old is looking forward to a break in order to come back revitalised for next term.

Watch the video above to hear Ledson's thoughts on:

  • How being stretched in the Under-21s will benefit the whole team in the long-term
  • Where he feels he has improved his game this season
  • The benefits of working with Under-21s coach David Unsworth
  • The possibility of going out on loan next season to achieve the ultimate aim of becoming a first-team regular
