Grant Helps Motherwell Survive

Conor Grant capped his loan spell with Motherwell by helping the Scottish outfit retain their SPL status on Sunday.

The 20-year-old midfielder replaced Stephen Pearson on 74 minutes as Ian Baraclough’s side recorded a 3-0 second-leg win over Rangers in their promotion/relegation play-off clash.

The cameo was Grant’s 12th appearance for Motherwell after joining the club on loan in February.

In total, Grant netted one goal – a fine 25-yard free-kick against Ross County on his debut – during his time north of the border.

He will now return to Everton following the conclusion of his loan spell.
