Charsley Takes Under-18s Gong

Harry Charsley has been named the Under-18s Player of the Season.

The young Irishman has been in tremendous form for the Blues’ Academy side this term, contributing nine goals and nine assists in 24 appearances.

His performances for the Under-18s also prompted David Unsworth to hand him a regular place in his Under-21s squad, with Charsley adding a further two goals in 12 outings.

After collecting his award from first-team defender John Stones at the Club's End of Season Awards, a delighted Charsley said: “I'm delighted to win. I'm really happy with the way I've played this season and the team have had a great year as well.

"It was a shame we couldn't retain our title but we are proud that we came so close and of our efforts in doing so.

"I want to kick-on now and play regularly for the Under-21s next season."

The 2014/15 Everton Under-18s Player of the Season award was sponsored by Freeman Computing Limited.
