John Stones was acknowledged for another year of personal progress by taking home the Young Player of the Season accolade at Everton’s 10th Annual End of Season Awards.
The England defender topped a poll on evertonfc.com and collected his prize during Wednesday evening’s prestigious ceremony at St George’s Hall.
Stones pulled in the majority of the fan vote for his displays throughout a season which saw him reach the milestone of 50 appearances for the Club.
The 20-year-old also scored his first goal in a royal Blue jersey during 2014/15 – a guided header in the 3-0 demolition of Manchester United in April.
"It's been a great few days, winning the supporters' club award last night and now this," Stones told evertontv.
"Knowing the fans have voted for me means so much. With the win at West Ham, it's been a fantastic.
"It's great that I've been recognised and I'm now already looking ahead to hopefully doing even better next season."
Stones’ stock has continued to rise during the last calendar year. He made a senior debut for England in June 2014 and added to his caps by appearing in the autumn internationals against Norway and Switzerland.
Furthermore, the former Barnsley star also gained his first taste of European football by featuring in the Everton’s Europa League campaign.
His strength of character was also evident as he recovered from ankle surgery in October to finish the second half of the campaign as a regular alongside skipper Phil Jagielka at centre-half.
The 2014/15 Everton Young Player of the Season Award was sponsored Alma de Cuba.
