One Change For Blues

Romelu Lukaku is set to line up against Chelsea in an Everton shirt for the first time on Saturday evening - while fellow former Stamford Bridge star Samuel Eto'o is named on the bench.

Roberto Martinez makes just one enforced changed for the visit of Jose Mourinho's men, with the injured Steven Pienaar being replaced by Aiden McGeady.

It means Tim Howard is once again protected by a back four of Seamus Coleman, Leighton Baines, Sylvain Distin and skipper Phil Jagielka.

James McCarthy and Gareth Barry will hold in midfield, with McGeady and Kevin Mirallas patrolling the wings.

Steven Naismith, scorer of the only goal in this fixture last term, is the man in the hole behind Lukaku.

On the bench, Eto'o, who only arrived at the Club on Tuesday, is joined by Joel, Darron Gibson, Muhamed Besic, Leon Osman, John Stones and Antolin Alcaraz.

Diego Costa, a rumoured doubt for the contest, is passed fit to start for the visitors.

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, McGeady, Naismith, Lukaku. Subs: Joel, Gibson, Eto'o, Besic, Osman, Stones, Alcaraz.

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Ramires, Hazard, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta. Subs: Cech, Luis, Zouma, Drogba, Mikel, Schurrle, Salah.
