Phil Jagielka returns for Everton's final pre-season friendly against SC Paderborn - while new arrival Muhamed Besic and Academy product Chris Long make their first starts for the Blues.
Jagielka sat out Wednesday's game against Celta Vigo having only returned to full training following the World Cup last week.
However, the skipper is back to lead a strong Toffees line up at the Benteler Arena.
As revealed by Martinez on Friday, Club record signing Romelu Lukaku and fellow Belgian Kevin Mirallas sit out the contest, though another World Cup star, Tim Howard, starts in goal.
The American will be protected by a back four of Tony Hibbert, Leighton Baines, Antolin Alcaraz and Jagielka, with Gareth Barry and Besic the holding duo in midfield.
Further forward, 19-year-old Long spearheads a front four also featuring Aiden McGeady, Steven Pienaar and Ross Barkley.
Besic has so far made two substitute appearances following his switch from Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros, while Under-21 regular Long has also featured in three pre-season games from the bench.
Luke Garbutt, who was expected to miss the clash with a groin problem, is fit enough to join the likes of Steven Naismith, Sylvain Distin, James McCarthy, John Stones and Leon Osman as subs.
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Besic, Barry, McGeady, Pienaar, Barkley, Long. Subs: Joel, Naismith, Distin, McCarthy, Osman, Stones, Garbutt, McAleny, Duffy, Hope
