The travelling group received a warm welcome as they made their way through the arrivals terminal at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Ross Barkley has travelled with the squad, along with Muhamed Besic who Roberto Martinez hopes to unveil as an Everton player next week.

Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines, Tim Howard and Kevin Mirallas have been given an extra period of rest after their World Cup involvement, while Arouna Kone and Bryan Oviedo have stayed on Merseyside to work on their fitness at Finch Farm.

Seamus Coleman has also not travelled after feeling his hamstring in the 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday.

Shortly after landing in Bangkok, Martinez spoke to the media to preview Sunday's contest - log onto later to get the thoughts of the Blues boss.
