Everton Football Club will begin using its new crest from today.

The design, selected by Evertonians for the first time in the Club’s history, has already started to appear around the stadium and online as part of the official switchover.

One of three options supporters could choose from back in October 2013, it received an overwhelming 78 per cent of the online fan vote.

The options were produced following an extensive consultation phase, during which around 20,000 supporters provided guidance towards what they wanted to see from a new Club badge.

The crest brings together the key iconic symbols of Everton's heritage - the tower, 'Nil Satis Nisi Optimum' and the shield - and is rendered in the Club colours of royal blue and white.
