Steven Naismith and John Stones are competing against one another throughout the 2014 World Cup.
The Everton duo may not be in Brazil, but that hasn't prevented a competitive element from developing from their budding friendship.
And the battle to be the most accurate World Cup predictor is underway.
The younger of the pair, Stones, went into day two with a two-point lead (one point for a correct result, three for a correct scoreline) but saw that clawed back as Naismith correctly predicted a 3-1 win for Chile against Australia.
Neither player took any points from the Spain v Netherlands contest or Mexico's 1-0 victory over Cameroon, though Stones did predict a Chile victory to ensure it's evenly-balanced at 4-4 heading into day three.
England come into the competition on Saturday in one of four scheduled matches and you can see our duo's latest tips below.
