Jagielka And Baines Start

Everton pair Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines will start for England in their 2014 World Cup opener against Italy tonight.

Meanwhile, fellow Blue, midfielder Ross Barkley, is named among Roy Hodgson's substitutes.

Jagielka and Baines will form half of goalkeeper Joe Hart's back four alongside Chelsea's Gary Cahill and Liverpool's Glen Johnson.

Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge complete the Three Lions line-up.
