All five of Everton’ World Cup contingent were in action on Saturday night.
It was a particularly special night for Tim Howard as he earned his 100th USA cap in their 2-1 World Cup warm-up win against Nigeria.
England trio Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Ross Barkley took part in the Three Lions’ 0-0 draw with Honduras.
Defenders Baines and Jagielka started the game while Barkley was introduced at the break.
Earlier, the match had been suspended due to an electrical storm over Miami’s Sun Life stadium.
Baines was the subject of some particularly aggressive challenges which eventually saw Honduran Brayan Beckeles sent off in the second half.
Jagielka took the captain’s armband for the last 15 minutes after Joe Hart was replaced.
There was also a weather-induced stoppage during Belgium’s 1-0 win over Tunisia in which Kevin Mirallas played for an hour.
