Williams Targets Final Glory

by Daniel Alston @efc_danalston

Joe Williams says Everton Under-18s are determined to clinch the league title in Saturday's end of season final at Goodison.

The young Blues face Manchester City, the side who finished top of the North division before the end-of-season play-offs.

Everton narrowly finished second, but overcame Tottenham in last week's semi-final at Goodison thanks to Michael Donohue's strike.

And ahead of this weekend's 5.30pm winner-takes-all clash, Everton Under-18s Player of the Season Williams says the Blues are targetting nothing but glory.

"It's a massive game," he told evertontv.  "We've got this far now so all we want to do is win it.

"It's at Goodison and we haven't lost there yet at Under-18s level so we'll try and keep that 100 per cent record up.

"Hopefully there'll be a good crowd there for the final but it's quality going out there at Goodison to Z Cars."

Admission is free for Season Ticket holders, with tickets available on the turnstiles priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
