Roberto Martinez is looking forward to attending his first Everton End of Season Awards evening and celebrating a record-breaking debut campaign in charge of the Blues.

Wednesday night at St George’s Hall will see the Club reflect on a memorable year at Goodison Park, one which has seen the Toffees amass their highest ever number of points in a Premier League season.

Qualification for the 2014/15 Europa League is already secure, with the Toffees all but sewing up a fifth-place finish with a game to spare.

And Martinez says the annual event – which will be streamed live for free on evertonfc.com - will be made extra special this year due to the many success stories emanating from the Club throughout the last 12 months.

Martinez said: “It’s always a really nice moment in the season. We can draw back on special moments and special memories.

“It’s been a record-breaking campaign with the number of points achieved in the league. It’s going to be a moment to celebrate and look back over the best memories that we have from such an exciting season.

“It is a significant event and it is good for the fans to be relaxed with the players, the team and the staff.”

There are a whole host of accolades to be announced on the night, including Player of the Season, Goal of the Season and the next Everton Giant.

In total, nine awards will be revealed during the glamorous evening, which will be attended by Martinez, his squad, former players and supporters.

Live coverage on evertonfc.com will commence at 9.30pm.
